Export the Completed Custom Certificate file and upload to Zenler in seconds.
The Process
Design in Canva
Use one of the premade templates provided with your licens or create your own in Canva. Add your own branding, colors, images, Logo, signatures to your design.
Note: Only works with solid colors. No gradients.
Download Design from Canva
You need a paid version of Canva in order to download your design as an SVG-file. This file does not work with Zenler out of the box but is still needed for the Certificate Tool.
Import to the Certificate Tool
Simply drag-drop your SVG-file into the tool and add the variables you want to use. (Course Name, Student Name, etc.).
Adjust Variable Size, Color and Fonts
Position your variables by clicking and moving them on the canvas. No coding. Make adjustments to placements, Font size, Font Colors and font family to match your brand and design.
Export your Certificate and upload to Zenler
Export your Certificate from the tool in the click of a button and you'll get a correctly coded SVG-file that works with Zenler.

Will this tool replace the need of a developer?
Yes! Using the premade Canva templates and the Cerfiticate Tool, which is drag-drop, you can make your own customized certificates and upload to your own Zenler account in minutes. No need to hire an expensive developer or having to wait on turnarounds. This is a no code, Drag-and-Drop, DIY tool.
Do you provide premade Canva templates?
Yes. You get access to premade Certificate Templates in Canva that have been battle tested and validated on the Zenler platform. You need a paid account with Canva in order to export in the correct format.
Can I bring my own Canva design?
Yes, but in order for it to work with Zenler there are a few prerequisites when it comes to size of the document as well as how you implement your design in Canva. This is covered in detail, step-by-step, in the video guide that comes with the Certificate Tool. No code. You need a paid account with Canva in order to export in the correct format.
If you do not want to build your own design you can use one of the premade Canva templates that's included.
Can I add my own Logotype and Brand Colors?
Yes. Use a premade Canva design that is provided and simply import your own Logotype image as an transparent PNG-file into that design. Change size and placement of your logotype and make other adjustments to the design so that it fits your brand. You need a paid account with Canva in order to export in the correct format.
What are the limitations for using Canva designs?
As long as you use solid colors, 100% opacity and no gradients you are good to go.
✅ This works:
- Add your own colors
- Logotype as transparent PNG file in the design
- Images that are 100% opacity
- Adding text in any font you want (Except for the Variables which are added by the Certificate Tool)
❌ This does not work:
- Using gradients in the Canva design
- Using opacity less than 100% on images and other elements of the design
Can I Resell certificates created with the Certificate Tool?
No. You cannot create certificates with this tool and resell to clients or offer for sale elsewhere. When you sign up to use the tool you agree to only use this for your own business.
